Governed by a group of highly skilled engineers and academicians of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, the Software Cell of Narayana Guru College of Engineering (NGCE) draws policies and frameworks based on which the entire wireless networking and communication infrastructure of the campus functions.

Procurement, installation, upgrade, and maintenance of computer systems & associated hardware as well as software packages are done by the Software Cell.

To make technical learning affordable and available to all, the Software Cell periodically conducts hands-on workshops and offers value-added certification courses in a variety of subjects like MCP, MCSE, CCNA, Oracle, Java, DotNet, Cloud Computing, PHP, Android development, AWS, AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Fusion 360, etc. Numerous NGOs, freelance educators, start-ups, and the general public have immensely benefitted from this learning opportunity. In addition to efficient management of wireless access, servers, and computer systems, NGCE’s Software Cell duly deserves the credit for the complete automation of administrative work, making the sector paper-free since 2002
