The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. In NarayanaGuru College of Engineering (NGCE), we encourage our undergraduate & post-graduate student volunteers to take part in various government led community service activities and programmes, adding more value to their learning trajectory.
Motto
The Motto of NSS “Not Me But You”, reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service. NSS helps the students’ development & appreciation to other person’s point of view and also show consideration towards other living beings.
Activities
Through annual NSS programmes, the institution is fortunate to have touched the lives of so many people and helped them improve their quality of life. Our volunteers regularly host health and fitness camps, literacy drives, environment campaigns, fire safety programmes, road safety awareness camps and village visits across Kanyakumari district.
