Narayanaguru College of Engineering is an institution approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University of Technology Tirunelveli . It is an ISO 9001:2008 institution certified by TUV. The College came into being as a result of the desire of a large number of well wishers associated with Narayanaguru International institute of Science and Technology who wanted an educational institution to impart value-based and descipline-oriented modern technical education of global standards at affordable cost, upholding the principles of Sree Narayanaguru viz.'One caste, One religion and One God for man kind' and 'freedom through education'. Dr.G. Siddhardhan (Former Registrar, Kerala University and former HOD of Management, Anna University, Chennai) Mrs.G. Chandralekha (W/o Dr.G. Sidhardhan), S. Manoj (Software Engineer USA), Prof. Sasikumar (Former Principal, SN College, Kollam), Mr. Anidharan (Former Chief Engineer KSEB) are some of the promoters.
